Santa María del Rio will have its sports week during Holy Week with various events, including an attentive invitation to all delegates to register their teams in what will be the Women’s Basketball Tournament.
This tournament will be held from April 14 to 17, where it is expected that there will be a good number of basketball teams from both Santa María del Rio itself and San Luis Potosí capital.
The Department of Sports headed by Transito Olvera extends an attentive invitation to all those interested to come as soon as possible, since there will be limited space for this event that will have a cash award.
The venue for this tournament will be the facilities of the Municipal Sports Complex of Santa María del Río, where all the matches of this tournament will be held, which hopes to bring together an important number of participating teams.
Regarding the award, it will be in cash, giving the team that wins the championship the amount of 20,000 pesos, for the runner-up team it will be 7,000 pesos, while the team that stays with the third place will receive 3,000. pesos.
Registration is now open for all teams that wish to take part in this tournament and can be done at the offices of the sports department of Santa María del Río at a cost of 1,500 pesos.
