LeBron James has reached the next milestone in his exceptional career. The 37-year-old made his 10,000 on Sunday (local time). Submission to the NBA. James is now the only player in NBA history with at least 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 10,000 assists. But that didn’t give him much joy at first. The Lakers went down 111-140 in the game at the Phoenix Suns and have now suffered ten away bankruptcies in a row.

The Suns’ top pitcher was Devin Booker with 30 points. James had 31 points, but because he was already far behind, he didn’t play in the final quarter. When asked about his record, he said: “I’m speechless every time something like this happens to me. I dreamed of being in this league and now I’m the only one with a stat like that in this league.”
Lots of defense and a retracted call in Boston
The Dallas Mavericks, meanwhile, slowed down the Boston Celtics and won 95-92 away in a game dominated by both defenses. Led by Luka Doncic, who was doubled and defended hard for long stretches of the game but scored 26 points, the Mavericks ended a series of five wins for the Celtics, in which Jaylen Brown caused a stir with some spectacular actions. Maxi Kleber remained without points, but had his share of the success with 13 rebounds. Daniel Theis was not used by the Celtics, who took Kevin Garnett’s jersey number five under the roof of the hall after the defeat and will no longer be awarded in the future.
This was preceded by the scene that decided the game five seconds before the end: Doncic had touched Marcus Smart’s hand during his three-way attempt to equalize, the refs recorded the foul call after a coach challenge and a long video study, accompanied by numerous discussions but finally returned to the floor.
Magic and the Wagner brothers miss a surprise – Schröder is absent due to illness
Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic around the Berlin brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner just barely missed a surprise against the title contenders Philadelphia 76ers. At 114:116, the Florida team forced an overtime and had a chance of winning until the last throw. Joel Embiid had most of the game with 35 points for the 76ers, Moritz Wagner had ten points for Orlando and his brother Franz had six points.
Dennis Schröder missed the Houston Rockets in the 105:130 against the New Orleans Pelicans because of an unspecified illness. Isaiah Hartenstein recorded a good twelve points as a substitute in the 106:102 of the Los Angeles Clippers against the Detroit Pistons.
