After stormy weeks, the long-awaited debut of James Harden with the Sixers finally arrived and La Barba responded to expectations with a performance that makes Sixers fans dream because we could see him at his best.
Dream debut for Harden
James Harden had not played since February 2, he missed his first two games with Philadelphia due to a muscle injury, but he reappeared in a big way with a performance of 27 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds, not bad for a guy with a few weeks without play. Sixers took the victory 133-102 in a game where Joel Embiid was a perfect complement with 34 points and 10 rebounds.
“We are not selfish, we just want to win. We have guys who go from top to bottom and it’s the way we feel on the court, great things are going to happen most of the time. My job is to come in and add everyone to this team.”
An emotional Harden commented at the end of the game.
