Joe Kelly joins White Sox for two years

The White Sox beefed up their bullpen Saturday by signing right-hander Joe Kelly to a two-year deal, according to USA Today’s Bob Nighengale.

The 10-year veteran is coming off a three-year stint with the Dodgers, in which he posted a 3.59 ERA and a 3.46 FIP in 105 1/3 innings over 115 appearances. He left Game 5 of the NLCS with a biceps strain, which ended his season.

A two-time World Series champion (with the Dodgers in 2020 and the Red Sox in 2018), Kelly has an ERA+ of 107 in 730.2 career innings.
