José Amador Rodríguez is presented as the new Sports Manager | Mexicali News

Looking to return to the top of the Mexican Pacific ARCO League, The Águilas de Mexicali presented former baseball player José Amador Rodríguez as the new Sports Manager.

After more than two decades of experience inside the diamond, “El Chapo” will dress in long pants inside the feathered institution, where he participated as a player in the 2009-2010, 2010-2011 seasons and as a loan in 2021-2022.

“The expectations are very high, we are very happy to be here and to show why Mexicali is a great baseball place, we will work from now on so that the Eagles fight for the Championship” added José Amador.

While Alberto Murillo, owner of the Águilas de Mexicali Club, was in charge of presenting said former player and handing him the representative team cap.

“We made a very good choice, we are very excited about what is coming for the team this season, as everyone knows it has been two difficult years due to the pandemic, but now we are focused on the next season that is approaching” commented the Owner of the Club, Alberto Murillo.

On the other hand, David Cárdenas will continue within the feathered institution as advisor to the Sports Manager, likewise, the Águilas de Mexicali plan to start training at the beginning of September.
