Paolo: A few things stand out: dedicated coaches,a strong youth program,and a culture that fosters passion and hard work. Judo Treviso has consistently nurtured young talent, providing them with the tools and support they need to excel. Their coaches are experienced and deeply invested in their athletes’ success.

Looking ahead to the Italian under 18 championships, four Judo treviso athletes are set to compete: Marta Vendramin, Maja Forese, Antonio Lubrano, and Logan Common. They’re all incredibly talented individuals. Who do you think has the best chance of bringing home gold?

paolo: It’s hard to say definitively! Each of these judokas is incredibly talented and has shown tremendous potential. Marta Vendramin, with her exceptional technical skills and mental fortitude, is definitely a strong contender for the title. But don’t underestimate Maja Forese’s fighting spirit or the tenacity of Antonio Lubrano and Logan Common. It’s going to be a thrilling competition!

Beyond the individual performances, this championship is crucial for athletes aspiring to join the national team. What advice would you offer to these young judokas as they navigate this pressure-filled event?

Paolo: First and foremost,focus on your strengths and enjoy the experience. Representing your club and competing on a national stage is an honor. Remember your training, trust your abilities, and don’t be afraid to fight with heart. And most importantly, remember to have fun!
