Thompson,who recently rejoined the NBA after a two-year hiatus due to injury,played a pivotal role in snapping the Bucks’ six-game winning streak. The Warriors secured a 122-109 victory, with Thompson emerging as the standout player. Notably, Steph curry had a quieter night, attempting only seven shots and finishing with eight points. On the opposing side, Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 31 points for the Bucks.
Despite the loss, the Bucks maintained their position in the Eastern Conference standings, as the Miami Heat, their closest rivals, also suffered a defeat. The Heat fell 104-113 to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are vying for a playoff berth. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls closed the gap with a 101-91 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
