Latvian handball player Dainis Krištopāns did not go on the field this time. He is still recovering from a knee injury and the team today was supported only by morale.
Earlier, Christopan also released the game on March 6, when “Saint-Germain” beat “Chambery Savoie” in Paris.
The game was very fierce. After the first half, the Paris club had only one goal deficit. In the second half, Telekom narrowed slightly and was in the lead with a three-goal lead. At the last minute, however, the club represented by Kristopan equalized the result. “Telekom” scored the goal just two seconds before the end of the match.
The “Saint-Germain” group tournament in Paris finishes in third place. In the first round of the playoffs, Elverum handball players from Norway will face the Paris club. Kristopan’s return to the square is still unclear.
