Nick Kyrgios has confirmed his participation in the ATP 250 in Mallorca to be held from June 18 to 25. According to the tournament organizers in a statement, he will do so after participating in the Stuttgart tournament.
This is the second time that the recent winner of the 2022 Australian Open doubles bracket alongside Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis has announced that he will compete in the Mallorca Championship. Last year he was also presented as one of the stars of the tournament, although he finally excused his participation.
The current number 1 in the world, the Russian Daniil Medvedev, the Serbian Novak Djokovic and the Austrian Dominic Thiem, among others, were present.
“I really want to play for the first time in the Mallorca Championships,” Kyrgios told the organizers of the Mallorcan tournament. “I have heard very good things about the club, the tournament and Mallorca in general. I want to show my best tennis and I hope to see many tennis fans there throughout the week,” added the winner of six ATP titles.
