Madrid, March 10 Pablo Laso, coach of Real Madrid, did not hesitate to point out the “spirit” of his team as the key to victory against AX Milan. “It was a very competitive game. Milan is very solid and stays in the game in any circumstance, we couldn’t break it. I’m happy with the victory, because of the spirit. It’s an important victory for qualifying for the playoff and for the advantage field in that playoff,” Laso said. “Football yesterday and basketball today is an example of what Real Madrid is. We are the first to encourage people. We have transmitted that to the stands and that is what they have given us back”, added the coach. Laso continued talking about the players’ desire for him. “I have congratulated them for the spirit they have shown, something that is non-negotiable. We have had the feeling that the team transmitted, regardless of shooting mistakes, or defenses”, he observed. “Everyone talks about wins and losses and how wins give you confidence that what you’re doing is right.
