adding to the historical significance, James became the frist player in NBA history to score at least 50 points both before turning 21 and after reaching the age of 35.This accomplishment underscores his enduring dominance and remarkable longevity.

“It’s funny, the team staff caught me right after the game and asked how I felt after scoring 56 points,” James shared. “I told them honestly, I didn’t care about the points at all. I’m just happy we won. Of course,I’m happy,I felt pretty good.”

James’ offensive explosion was a masterclass in efficiency. He connected on 19 of his 31 field goal attempts, including an impressive 6 of 11 from three-point range. He also added three assists and showcased his durability by playing over 38 minutes despite a painful elbow injury sustained in the first half.

This performance also saw James surpass Kareem Abdul-jabbar for second place on the NBA’s all-time minutes played list, including playoffs. He now trails only Abdul-Jabbar by approximately 3,500 minutes.

What’s your take on Dinwiddie’s performance and the Mavericks’ depth without Luka?

Charles Barkley: Spencer’s gotta be feeling good about that one! He showed everyone what he can do when given the opportunity. That’s the mark of a good team – guys stepping up when needed.

But let’s be honest, the Mavericks need Luka back healthy. He’s their engine, their superstar. They can win games without him, but they’re championship contenders with him on the floor.
