The Siena Baseball Club organize one day of solidarity, peace and fun at your own baseball field in Strada del Petriccio and Belriguardo (inside the Sarajevo Children’s Park), next to the Tozzi school, Saturday 2 April from 4 to 6 pm dedicating your own Famili Day in support of Ukrainian children and refugee families.
On this occasion, a free snack will be organized for the participants by the company at the end of the event itself. The Juventus club will collect essential materials to be sent through official channels in Ukraine.
The initiative was organized by investing the Mayor of Siena Avv. Luigi De Mossi, the Councilors for Social Francesca Appolloni and Sport Prof. Paolo Benini, the Caritas Diocesiana and the Archdiocese of Siena, Montalcino and Colle di Val d’Elsa, the Produce dell’Est grocery store in via dei Gazzani.
“Italian baseball met the Ukrainian national team at the last European championship, hosted in Piedmont”, the Juventus club underlines in a note, “in which he had participated after having hit a historic qualification for the Poule A of the European Championship. Now we don’t want to leave them alone ”.
