Visiting Brighton, Liverpool have once again grabbed a much-needed 3-pointer. The Reds remain in the standings at 3 points from leader Manchester City. Colombian Luis Diaz and star player Mohamed Salah scored the goals. Leandro Trossard played the entire game for the home team.

After just under 20 minutes, The Reds took the lead thanks to Luis Diaz, but the wing attacker was firmly stopped by Brighton goalkeeper Sanchez.

The goal was awarded after a VAR intervention. Referee Mike Dean seemed to have no choice but to draw a red card, but did his own thing and spared the goalkeeper. After the break, Mo Salah kicked his 20th league goal against the ropes from the spot: 0-2.
