With a great tradition in local basketball, the Loyalty League returns to start its new men’s and women’s tournaments, causing the emotions around the ball and the hoop to reignite.
Based in the Héroes de Chapultepec neighborhood, the Loyalty League prepares the courts to bring together the best players in León. The actions are organized with weekly and Saturday contests in which categories that go from the free, first force, first intermediate and second force compete.
For the new edition, the participation of more than 50 quintets is expected, most of them from León, although teams from San Francisco del Rincón also participate.
This Monday the whistle will be given in the Weekly Tournament of First Force, First Intermediate and Second Force. In the women’s branch, eight teams are confirmed to attend in the highest category and in the intermediate category, while the second starts with 14 teams.
For their part, the men compete with eight teams in the First Force and Intermediate, while in the Second Force 18 squads were registered and the entry of new teams is still expected.
In the Men’s Saturday Tournament ten quintets attend and in Sunday they started eight teams. Some of the participating male squads are Harlem, Pistons, Irons, Ghetto, Rapitaxi, Sector 7, Arachnids, Friends. For the women’s branch are Atléticas, Comadres, Nets, Fuerza COVID, Acopladas, All Star, Storm, Sirenas, among others.
