Tied for fourth in the standings after three rounds, Canada’s Brooke M. Henderson is just three shots off the lead at the Honda LPGA Tour in Thailand.
The 24-year-old Ontarian shot 66 (-6) on Saturday, on her third lap. She harvested seven birdies and committed only one bogey.
Her cumulative score of 198 (-18) allows her to share her rank with the Mexican Gaby Lopez and the Japanese Nasa Hataoka.
It was Denmark’s Nanna Koerstz Madsen who took the lead after 54 holes. The 27-year-old returned a card of 66 (-6) and hit a total of 195 (-21) shots since the start of hostilities.
Xiyu Lin of China and Céline Boutier of France share second place, one shot behind Madsen.
Tied for the lead after the second round, Australia’s Su Oh had a bad day at work and shot 73 (+1). She was therefore relegated to 11th place, along with a host of golfers.
