This saga has been going on since last summer. Real Madrid wants to get Kylian Mbappé, the French super-talent does not hide their desire to leave for Spain. He has been a Los Blancos fan since childhood and sees hiring with the Madrid giant as the best opportunity to regularly win trophies and win the Golden Ball.
However, PSG did not release him to the Iberian Peninsula, although his contract ends after this season. If Mbappé does not sign the new one, he will leave completely free of charge. At the same time, Real Madrid offered over 200 million euros last August.
But Qatari sheikhs don’t deal with money. Instead of collecting 200 million euros, they decided to invest this money in Mbappé’s contract.
According to the renowned French daily Le Parisien, PSG offered Mbappé an ultracontract. The 23-year-old footballer would earn 50 million euros a year, with only Neymar and Messi (€ 67m), also defending the colors of PSG, and Cristiano Ronaldo (€ 62m) earning more in the world.
Mbappé currently receives 25 million euros, which would double his salary. But that’s not all, PSG would pay Mbappé a bonus of 100 million euros. Absolutely outrageous amount, which has been surpassed only eleven times in the history of football transfers – and now the Parisians would only pay it for retaining their own player, not for any reinforcement.
But in fact, it would strengthen. PSG wants to win the Champions League at all costs, and although the star duo Messi – Neymar is on the attack, the team is pulling the youngest of them on the shoulders. Without Mbappé, PSG would have much bigger problems in the league, against Real Madrid in the eighth finals of the Champions League, he was also the one who saved PSG 1-0 in the last minute with an individual action.
If the Parisians lost Mbappe, it would be a huge weakening. Messi is without a doubt a perfect footballer, but his engagement in PSG does not smell so good to him yet and the team himself can no longer pull. Neymar is constantly injured and can hardly be relied on in the most important moments.
Mbappé is the main weapon of the PSG this season, although few expected it. They do not want to give up their fast in Paris at any cost and try to get him to stay with anything, even with this outrageous contract.
And what are the chances that Mbappé will stay at PSG? Honestly, not too tall. If Mbappé had not yet signed, he indicated that he did not care so much about money, but that he wanted to go to Real Madrid. As a result, this astronomical contract will no longer convince him, moreover, when Los Blancos also does not offer him small change.
