Mads Pedersen wins the sprint of the 3rd stage of Paris-Nice

Dane Mads Pedersen won the 3rd stage of Paris-Nice in the sprint on Tuesday March 8 at Dun-le-Palestel in Creuse, on the eve of the time trial. Frenchman Christophe Laporte retained the leader’s yellow jersey despite an apparent minor fall in the final hectometres. In an uphill sprint, Pedersen beat Frenchman Bryan Coquard and Belgian champion Wout van Aert. The 26-year-old Dane, world champion in 2019, took his 20th victory, the second of the season.
