March Madness NCAA Basket 2022 Dates, keys and crosses of ‘March Madness’
El Selection Sunday I have already passed sentence and we have the 68 teams that are still alive, seeking to be the NCAA college basketball champion.
After meeting the 32 conference champions, the Committee announced the 36 ‘at-large’ teams, the guests at the big dance who arrive without being one of the champions.
For the fifth time in its history, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are #1 in their region and repeat as #1 in the entire tournament, like it was last year. Now they are not undefeated, but they are looking to finally bring the national championship to Spokane.
Indiana, Notre Dame, Rutgers y Wyomingthe four teams that will play in the First Four matches of the #11 seeds, were the last four included in March Madness.
Dayton, SMU, Oklahoma y Texas A&M they were the first four out.
The four ‘playoff’ matches will take place in Dayton, Ohio, Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16.
Rutgers vs Notre Dame for the #11 seed in the Western Region.
Texas Southern vs Texas A&M Corpus Christi for the 16th seed from the Midwest Region.
Wright State vs Bryant in San Diego, California, by #16 of the South Region.
Wyoming vs Indiana for the 12th seed from the Eastern Region

March Madness returns to its normal format. In 2021 it was done in the ‘bubble’ of Indianapolis, but now the usual game days are back and in multiple venues across the country. This is the match schedule.
First Four – Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 March
First round – Thursday 17 and Friday 18 March
Second round – Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March
Sweet 16 – Thursday 24 and Friday 25 March
Elite Eight – Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March
Final Four – Saturday April 2
National Championship – Monday, April 4
The Sunday, March 13 at 6:00 PM ET all the participating teams and the match keys are announced in the Selection Sunday.
The last three matches of March Madness are going to New Orleans. The national semifinals will be played at the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
The home of the NFL Saints will be the host of the Final Four for the sixth time in its history (1982, 1987,1993, 2003, 2012) and by first time since 2012being the last occasion when Anthony Davis guide the title of Kentucky to give the first championship to coach John Calipari.
