Mercato: The infirmary point at D-2 of Real Madrid / PSG

Three days before the round of 16 return between Real Madrid and PSG, the injuries are becoming clearer: Herrera and Ramos are heading straight for a package while Kroos still has a small chance.

PSG carried out their last training session at Camp des Loges on Monday morning before leaving for Madrid on Tuesday on the eve of the meeting and the lessons of the day concerning the state of health of the troops are rather simple. As RMC’s Loïc Tanzi reports, there were only two players absent from training on Monday morning, central defender Sergio Ramos and midfielder Ander Herrera. The two have not played for several weeks and are logically heading towards a package for Real Madrid / PSG.

On the other hand, this means that there were no new injuries during Saturday evening’s match in Nice (0-1) and that the former injured Leandro Walls and Ashraf Judge were able to chain a new training session. The Argentinian returned to the group last Friday but had not been selected for the match in Nice while the Moroccan side resumed training yesterday and now seems to be well recovered from his thigh injury.

In the opposite camp, the big doubter is called Toni Kroos Of course. Touched in the thigh in the middle of last week, the German midfielder made it clear that he was going to do everything possible to be ready for the match. This Monday, however, he was not present in training with the rest of his partners but he was well on the pitch, alone, away with the ball, as reported by Spanish journalist Sergio Quirante. He is therefore not forfeited yet but he only has collective training left before the match and time could therefore run out.

Regarding the other recently injured David Alabahe was already back last weekend on the lawns and played the match in full while midfielder Federico Valverdeill and package Saturday against Real Sociedad, had resumed training yesterday.
