There has been much commentary in recent days about the fight between kickboxer Badr Hari and his Polish opponent Arkadiusz Wrzosek, which had to be stopped after spectators in the stands clashed. Also the podcast Bureau Sport from NPO Radio 2 pays attention to the event.
In their podcast Bureau Sport, program makers Frank Evenblij and Erik Dijkstra discuss the rematch between Wrzosek and Badr Hari that got out of hand, due to the outbreak of riots in the stands of the Trixxo Arena in Hasselt, Belgium. According to them, this scandal could mean the end of kickboxing, writes martial arts info.

Kickboxing trainer and former coach of Badr Hari, Mike Passenier, explains the massive fights in the audience in the podcast episode. He disagrees with the statement that the riots turned out well for Hari because he was losing the game. “I don’t think so, why would he do that, he’s too much sportsman for that,” said the coach.
