millionaires has a brave match in Brazil this Tuesday: faces Fluminense at the São Januário stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, for the second leg of phase 2 of the 2022 Copa Libertadores. The Colombian team lost 1-2 in the first leg, playing in Bogotá, so it is obligatory to win away to go for the feat.
The base of the starting team arrived in Brazil from Sunday, as coach Alberto Gamero reserved his best players for the Colombian League and worked with a large part of the starting team in Libertadores, to coordinate plays with which he can surprise the ‘Flu’ .
However, Millonarios will have a forced loss: the Venezuelan Eduardo Sosa, author of the Albiazul goal against Fluminense in the first leg, was sent off in that same game and will not be able to come back to try to come back in Brazil.
Who will replace Sosa? Alberto Gamero has several players to choose from. Thus, Andrés Gómez, Jáder Valencia and Richard Celis could be in the coach’s deck.
However, apparently in the last practice in Brazil, the Venezuelan’s replacement would be precisely another Venezuelan: Richard Celis seems to have convinced Gamero.
This will be the Millonarios lineup today, to face Fluminense:
Millionaires: Alvaro Montero; Andrés Felipe Roman, Andrés Llinás, Juan Pablo Vargas, Omar Bertel; Stiven Vega, Larry Vasquez; Daniel Ruiz, David Macalister Silva, Richard Celis; and Diego Herazo.
D.T.: Alberto Gamer.
