the press release
Experienced right pitcher, Mirco Nodari arrives in red and white for the first time in his career. Born in 1980, he takes his first steps in the world of baseball in the youth categories of Spino d’Adda. The first leap in quality dates back to 1996: Mirco moves to the Old Rags of Lodi where he alternates between the Under 18 category and the first team in which he occupies the role of Under 21 pitcher in the then Serie A2.
He remained in the yellow-green for several years during which he played several Serie A2 and B Championships, winning the B playoffs in 2003. First experience in Piacenza in 2005, on the Red Devils side, where he was able to play continuously to recover from a serious injury suffered the year before. In 2007 new experience in Serie B with the shirt of Milan 1946 with which he again takes away the satisfaction of winning the promotion playoffs.
2008 saw Nodari return to the Old Rags, then in Serie B with whom he again obtained (third time in his career) promotion to Federal Serie A at the end of the 2011 season. In the 2013-2014 two-year period he joined the ranks of Bovisio Masciago, always in Serie B, and the participation in the promotion playoffs is inevitable, but this time it has vanished at the final in Potenza Picena. The appointment with the fourth promotion in A2, however, is only postponed: after arriving in Codogno in 2015, in 2017 he won the Serie B playoffs in the final against Cali Roma. From 2018 to 2021 he is the absolute protagonist of the Serie C Championship with the jersey of the Old Rags of Lodi with whom he disputes a series of consecutive playoffs, without however reaching the umpteenth career promotion.
Equipped with great control and mastery of the strike zone, Nodari can be used by Marenghi as a set-up or, if necessary, as a long relief, adding depth and experience to the red and white bullpen.
