During the 2013-2014 ‍period, he joined ‌bovisio Masciago, also in Serie B, and consistently reached the promotion playoffs, though ⁣victory eluded him in the final‍ at Potenza Picena.⁤ his fourth promotion‌ to A2 came ‍in​ 2017 after joining Codogno in 2015, where he secured the Serie B playoffs against Cali Roma.⁤ From 2018 ⁢to 2021, Nodari was a standout player in the Serie C Championship⁤ with the Old Rags of Lodi, leading⁢ the team to multiple consecutive playoffs, though another promotion⁤ remained just out ‍of reach.

My time with the Old⁤ Rags and the Red⁤ Devils was formative, but this feels like a new adventure, and I’m ready for it.


moderator: You’ve had a long and winding career,starting in the youth leagues of ⁣Spino d’Adda and‍ climbing your way up through Serie A2,B,and even ‌C Championships. What would you say has been the biggest milestone in your journey so far?

Mirco Nodari: That’s a tough⁣ question!‍ Every promotion and‍ playoff victory has been special, but I’d say my first promotion to⁢ Serie A2 back in 2003 with the old Rags was ⁣a defining moment. It validated all the‌ hard ⁣work and sacrifices ⁢I’d made up to that point. That said, my fourth⁤ promotion to A2 in 2017 with Codogno was also incredibly meaningful, as​ it came after a period of rebuilding ⁢my career ​post-injury.


Moderator: Speaking of that injury in 2004, you’ve had your share of setbacks, including ⁢that significant injury‍ that sidelined you for a while. How did you overcome those challenges,​ and what advice would you give to young athletes facing similar obstacles?

Mirco Nodari: Injuries are part ⁢of the game, ​but they can be mentally devastating. What got me through was ​my passion for baseball and the support⁤ of my family and teammates. I focused​ on rehabilitation and came back ​stronger. My‍ advice to young athletes is simple: don’t let setbacks define you. Use them as motivation to work ⁤harder and‍ come back even ​better.


Moderator: ⁢You’ve been praised⁢ for your control and command of⁣ the strike zone, ‍which has made you a‍ versatile pitcher, whether ​as a set-up pitcher or long reliever. ⁣How ⁣do you maintain ‍such consistency on the mound, and ‌how do you see ‍your role evolving with the red and white team?

mirco Nodari: Consistency comes from practice ‍and experience. I’ve spent countless​ hours honing my mechanics and⁣ studying hitters. As for my role with the red and white team, I’m here to support⁤ the bullpen⁣ in whatever capacity the⁤ manager needs. Whether it’s closing out games or providing ‍stability in the middle innings, I’m ready to contribute.


Moderator: Your time with the old Rags of Lodi has been particularly noteworthy, spanning multiple stints and leading the team to numerous playoffs. ​What is it​ about that club that keeps drawing you back?

Mirco Nodari: The Old Rags are like family to me. They gave me my start in baseball, and I’ve always felt a strong connection⁢ to the club and its fans. Even when I’ve played for other⁤ teams, Lodi has remained a special place⁢ for me. It’s where I grew as ⁤a⁤ player and as a person.
