Pedro Martínez: It’s a tough question.Both pitchers are in their 30s, and injuries are always a concern, especially for deGrom, who has had some setbacks recently. But if they stay healthy, there’s no reason they can’t dominate. The key will be managing their workload. You can’t expect them to pitch complete games every time,but with the right support from the bullpen,they’ll be unstoppable.

Pedro Martínez: It’s definitely a mix of both. Spring Training is about building up stamina and fine-tuning mechanics, but with deGrom’s injury history, the Mets are right to be cautious. You don’t want to push him to hard in March and risk losing him in September. Scherzer, on the other hand, is a workhorse. He’s proven he can handle a heavy workload, and his performance shows he’s ready for the season.
