Mo Salah misses out on World Cup with Egypt after new penalty trauma against Senegal | World Cup preliminary round

Senegal-Egypt was a clash between Liverpool stars Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.

Egypt defended a 1-0 lead from the first leg, but played that bonus
lost in 3 minutes tonight. Villarreal striker Boulaye Dia scored on a
corner kick.

Both teams were back on an equal footing. Salah had to get out of his room with Egypt, but it was mainly Senegal that looked for a 2nd goal.

No more goals were scored in regular time, even in overtime
Egypt and Senegal don’t let the net vibrate anymore.

Penalty kicks had to be decisive, just like in the Africa Cup final.
Then Senegal took the lead against Egypt.

After one penalty miss after another (also Salah – attacked by lasers – missed), the 5th penalty kick was the first to go in.

Senegal then remained clear, Egypt missed 1 more time with Mostafa Mohamad. Mané kicked in the decisive eleven meter (3-2).

No World Cup for Salah and his followers, but for his Liverpool brother Mane and Senegal.
