The Mont-Joli municipal council confirms the appointment of Roch Nadeau as director of the Recreation, Culture and Community Life Department.
Mr. Nadeau took office on Monday.
Holder of a college diploma in physiotherapy techniques, Mr. Nadeau worked for twenty years for private clinics in Mont Joli and Matane. From 2012 until recently, he taught physiotherapy techniques at Matapedian Center for Collegial Studies. He was also responsible for the coordination of the department.
Great athlete
A great athlete, Roch Nadeau played a leading role in sports-study programs as a hockey coach in both Mont-Joli and Amqui, in addition to being involved as a parent in the sports organizations where his two daughters evolved. .
Roch Nadeau succeeds Josée Lévesque, who retired from the management of the Recreation, Culture and Community Life Department last November. Ms. Lévesque had been in charge of the service for about thirty years.
The municipal council and the management of the City of Mont-Joli wish the most cordial welcome to Roch Nadeau and all the success expected in his new functions.
