About the Snow Pentathlon

Founded in Lac-Beauport in 2005, the Pentathlon des neiges has been presented on the Plains of Abraham since 2008. Sanctioned by Triathlon Québec, the Pentathlon des neiges is unique and is positioned as the largest winter multisport event in the world. To participate in the Pentathlon des neiges, athletes are called upon to practice various disciplines continuously — cycling, running, cross-country skiing, skating and snowshoeing — either solo, in tandem or as a team. The Pentathlon des neiges is organized by Groupe Pentathlon, a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop innovative, unifying and high-impact sporting events, bringing to life emotions and enriching experiences, including the Pentathlon des neiges and the Québec Singletrack Experience. .
