Morello and Andreoli Italian champions in the Olympic

Marco Morello and Tatiana Andreoli are the new Italian archery champions. Arco Club Riccione and Arcieri Torrevecchia are the teams that win the tricolor.

INDIVIDUAL ABSOLUTE

Marco Morello confirms himself as the Italian champion after the triumph of 2021. The archer of the National and Air Force in the final faces the Olympian Michele Frangilli, in a competition that offers many emotions between the two airmen. Morello has the possibility to close the challenge already at the end of the fifth volley, but he does not take advantage of it, so he goes to the shoot where Frangilli hits the 7 which leaves the opponent free field. The final score says 6-5 (10-7) and confirms Marco Morello as champion of Italy. Yuri Belli (Archers Aquila Bianchi) climbs on the third step of the podium who, in the match for the bronze, wins 6-4 over Massimiliano Mandia (Fiamme Azzurre).

Among women, Tatiana Andreoli wins the absolute Italian title, the third of her career after those of 2018 and 2020. The final is an all-blue challenge with the athlete of the Fiamme Oro who challenges Vanessa Landi (Aeronautica Militare), veteran from silver to Lasko’s European Championships. Andreoli takes the gold with a high-level performance in which she leaves only one set to the opponent closing the clash with the result of 7-3. Bronze medal for the young Roberto Di Francesco degli Arcieri Abruzzesi who in the match against Tanya Giaccheri (Air Force) wins 7-1.
