Facing off against fellow airman and Olympian michele Frangilli, the final was a tense affair filled with dramatic moments. Morello had the prospect to secure the win in the fifth set but faltered, allowing Frangilli to stay in contention. Ultimately, Frangilli’s 7 in the final set opened the door for Morello, who capitalized on the opportunity to clinch the championship with a score of 6-5 (10-7). Yuri Belli of Archers Aquila Bianchi secured the bronze medal, defeating Massimiliano Mandia of Fiamme Azzurre 6-4.

Tatiana Andreoli, a member of the Fiamme Oro team, dominated the women’s competition, capturing her third Italian championship title. Her previous victories came in 2018 and 2020. The final pitted Andreoli against Vanessa Landi, a veteran archer from the Aeronautica Militare and silver medalist at the Lasko European Championships. andreoli delivered a commanding performance, dropping only one set to Landi and securing the gold medal with a decisive 7-3 victory. Arco Club Riccione etched their name in the history books by claiming their first-ever italian men’s team championship. The trio of De Petra, Giacchi, and Gregori proved too strong for their opponents, Archers Decumanus Maximus (Guerra, Lo Porto, Michieletto), securing a 5-3 victory. The bronze medal whent to the Voghera archers (Nespoli, Paoletta, Ralli), who blanked the reigning champions, Iuvenilia (Melotto, Morello, Piano), 6-0.Torrevecchia Archers Extend Their Reign

The Castenaso Archery Team (Di Pasquale, Franceschelli, passarella) claimed the bronze medal after defeating the Archers Città di Pescia (Centini, Lionetti, Platania) 5-1.

Sara Toninelli: It’s certainly a challenge for other teams to break Torrevecchia’s streak. They have an remarkable balance of experience and youth,making them a formidable force. Though, I believe the recent performances from teams like Iuvenilia and Castenaso Archery Team demonstrate that the competition is getting fiercer.
