Mats: I absolutely agree with Patrick. Matteo’s forehand is a thing of beauty, a true weapon that can demolish opponents. But that backhand, while he’s certainly improved it, is still a liability against the very best. In crucial moments, against players like Djokovic, Nadal, or even Medvedev, that backhand can be exploited, and it’s something he needs to address if he wants to reach the pinnacle of the sport.
