former World No. 1 Andy Murray has been granted a wildcard entry into the BNP paribas Open, marking his return to the prestigious ATP Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells. The tournament, scheduled from March 10-20, will be Murray’s first opportunity to build on his recent climb back into the ATP Top 100, achieved on February 7th.
This year’s BNP Paribas Open holds particular meaning for the 34-year-old Scotsman. It represents the only hard-court Masters 1000 title that has eluded him throughout his illustrious career.
