LeBron James is certainly one of the most important NBA legends ever. There is no doubt about it. But when it comes to identifying the best scorers ever, for one reason or another, his name almost never appears. Insiders and fans seem to prefer other profiles, elevating pure shooters over the Akron native’s physical prowess and plurality of offensive weapons.
All this, remembering that LeBron is currently third in the ranking of the best NBA scorers of all time, 250 points (approximately) from Karl Malone and a season behind Kareem-Abdul Jabbar. That is why LeBron does not accept the fact that he is not considered in this particular ranking. How can the (potential) best scorer ever in the league not be taken into consideration?
NBA, LeBron James on the best scorers ever: “I’m angry”
In the first installment of the new season of his show on HBO; “The Shop: Uninterrupted,” James put it this way: “I’m not a natural scorer, I love to involve my teammates and it has always been like that. Being up there among the top scorers in NBA history makes me weird. Yet when they talk about the best filmmakers ever, I never get mentioned. It makes me inca… e. My name never comes out ”.
Then, he also talked about his curious pre-match method, for charging: “Sometimes it happens that maybe I’m tired or I haven’t slept well, so I go out on the pitch for the warm-up and I’m always looking for a hater in the stands. Even just one is enough for me. I always think, ‘Please let there be one, I need it.’ Even 20 minutes from the tap-off I keep looking until I say ‘Oh, I found this son of… Now I’m ready to go’ ”.
