[Reuters]–The American Basketball Association (NBA) played games in various places on the 4th, and Wizards, to which Rui Hachimura belongs, lost to Hawks 114-117.
Hachimura, who started on the bench, played for about 26 minutes and marked 19 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Kentavious Caldwell Pope scored 28 points, the most for both teams, and Kyle Kuzma showed 22 points, 11 assists and a double-double, but was not rewarded.
Yuta Watanabe of the Raptors played in the middle and played for about 12 minutes with 3 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal 1 block. Teammate Pascal Siakam scored 34 points and 14 rebounds, but the team lost to Magic 97-103.
The Seventy Sixers defeated the Cavaliers 125-119 to win five straight games. Tyrese Maxey contributed 33 points, James Harden 25 points and 11 assists, and Joel Embiid 22 points and 9 rebounds.
The Pistons beat the Pacers 111-106 and the Bulls beat the Bulls 118-112. The Timberwolves beat Thunder 138-101 and the Pelicans beat Jazz 124-90.
