FC Bayern has struggled with numerous injury-related absences in recent weeks. Even before the top Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen, FCB are threatened with further failures.
Defender Niklas Süle has been struggling with back problems since the game against Eintracht Frankfurt. The 26-year-old did not take part in regular team training this week and was also absent from the training ground on Säbener Straße on Wednesday, as reported by “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg.
Lewandowski is also absent from training

According to Plettenberg, however, Süle wasn’t the only FCB star missing from team training today. Surprisingly, top scorer Robert Lewandowski was also absent. It remains to be seen whether this is a normal stress control or whether the 33-year-old Pole is ailing.
Also missing were Marc Roca and Bouna Sarr, who both completed individual sessions.
