The Pittsburgh Steelers have found Ben Roethlisberger’s replacement.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafalo reports the Steelers have signed Mitchell Trubisky to a two-year deal.
The second overall pick in the 2017 draft is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Steelers, who have been looking for a No. 1 since Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement after 18 seasons.
Quarterback No. 2 for the Buffalo Bills last year after four seasons with the Chicago Bears, Trubisky completed 6 of his 8 attempted passes for 43 yards and one interception. He also scored a touchdown.
In career, Trubisky completed 1,016 of 1,585 attempted passes for 10,652 yards, 64 touchdowns and 34 interceptions.
