Teams like Carolina, Toronto, even Colorado, they’re all capable of pushing Tampa to the limit.
Rob: Don’t forget Edmonton.McDavid and Draisaitl are an absolute force, Barry.
Barry: Oh, they are terrifying, no question. When those two are clicking, it feels like they can score at will. But I still think Edmonton needs more consistency from their supporting cast. they need secondary scoring to really contend for the Cup.
rob: Speaking of secondary scoring, Mark Scheifele had a monster game for Winnipeg with four points against Montreal. How important is it for teams like Winnipeg to have that kind of depth scoring?
Barry: Crucial,Rob,absolutely crucial. Look at the teams that win championships: they have more than just one or two superstars. They have guys who can step up when needed, chip in those timely goals, and provide that vital offensive support. Scheifele shows why he’s a cornerstone player for the Jets.
Rob: What about that Detroit win in overtime? Lucas Raymond coming through with the game-winner – that’s got to be a huge boost for a young team like the Red Wings.
