Al-Khelaifi explained that the ECA’s intensified cooperation with UEFA in order to find marketing partners and professionalize the marketing of commercial rights has borne fruit. “For the first time ever, UEFA and the ECA have worked closely together,” said the head of the ECA, which held its general assembly in a Vienna city center hotel on Monday and Tuesday. Red Bull Salzburg, Rapid and Austria are full ECA members from Austria, while Sturm Graz and LASK are associated members. “The great challenges for the clubs as well as Corona have led to a good dialogue being held here. I experience it very, very positively,” said Rapids Economy Managing Director Christoph Peschek.
