TRIBUNJOGJA.COM – PSS Sleman closed the BRI Liga 1 Series 4 with a 0-0 draw against PSM Makassar, Tuesday (2/3/2022) at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Stadium, Bali.
With that result throughout Series 4 which played 11 matches, the team nicknamed the Super Elang Jawa got 3 wins, 2 draws, and 6 defeats. The points obtained during the series which was held on the island of Bali were 11 points.
Then the points are combined with Series 1-3 or the first round with a total of 32 points. This result makes Super Elja sit in 11th place in the BRI Liga 1 2021 standings with a record of eight wins, eight draws and 12 defeats.
Now Series 5, which will be held again on the Island of the Gods, only has six matches left. This means that PSS Sleman has the opportunity to get an additional 18 points.
Obviously, it will not be easy for I Putu Gede’s team to be able to clean up in the remaining six matches. Then approximately how many points can PSS Sleman be able to achieve in the rest of this second round match?
It should be noted that in the six matches, PSS Sleman will meet four teams ranked above it, such as Bhayangkara FC, Persita Tangerang, PSIS Semarang, and Persija Jakarta.

Then two other teams are under PSS Sleman, or currently in the relegation zone, namely Persipura Jayapura and Persela Lamongan.
Looking at the results in the first round, of the six teams they faced, Super Elja was only able to win against PSIS Semarang. While the rest drew against Bhayangkara FC, Persela Lamongan, and Persija Jakarta, then lost against Persipura and Persita Tangerang.
If the result is a reference, then PSS Sleman has the potential to win 6 points. It can also be calculated from the ratio of PSS Sleman’s wins during the second round in Series 4 which was only around 30 percent, 20 percent drew, and 50 percent lost.
So if it is accumulated with a total of 32 points, Super Elja currently has 38 points. So that the potential for an increase in the ranking of the standings can be up to two strips up or to rank 9.
