Pacifico Defeats Leader Pérfora in Thrilling Federal League Match

The federal League once again showcased thrilling basketball action this Saturday night, with two standout matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Pacífico secured a narrow victory over league leaders Pérfora,while Biguá staged an impressive comeback to defeat Centenario in a high-stakes showdown.


Pacífico demonstrated their dominance on their home court, fueled by the energy of their passionate supporters. Under the guidance of coach Maximiliano Rubio, the team clinched a hard-fought 71-70 win in a game filled with tension, debate, and controversial moments.

Even though Pacífico maintained the lead for most of the match, they struggled to create a significant gap on the scoreboard.Francisco Hoffmann emerged as the standout player, delivering 20 crucial points on a night packed with drama. Simultaneously occurring, Biguá staged a remarkable second-half turnaround to defeat Centenario 85-75. Matías Arias (25 points) and Marco Parmich (20 points) spearheaded Centenario’s efforts in the first half, but their momentum faltered after halftime.

Emilio Santana (22 points) and David Fric (18 points) led the charge for Biguá, supported by a well-rounded team performance. Contributions from Luciano Ravera (15 points), Santiago Pascual (12 points), and leonel rodríguez (12 points) highlighted Biguá’s depth, which ultimately proved decisive.

Under the leadership of coach Mauricio santángelo, Biguá continues to climb the standings and solidify their position as a formidable home team. In contrast, Centenario remains at the bottom of the table, tied with Zorros.
