Piacenza baseball’s first transfer market operation for the 2022 season: Paolo Contardi will wear the red and white jersey for the next Serie B Championship.
Natural right, winger born in 1987, Contardi took his first steps in baseball in 1998 among the ranks of Codogno, a team from his hometown. With the biancoblu jersey he is the protagonist of the whole series of youth categories, winning groups and the Region Cup, also earning the call for two consecutive years to the Lombardy selection with which he plays two editions of the prestigious Tournament of the Regions in Ronchi dei Legionari and in Macerata. The transition to the Under 21 category takes place with the shirt of the Old Rags of Lodi, to which Paolo arrives on loan. His return to Codogno brings him to the roster of the first team, with which he made his debut in Serie A2 in the second half of the 2000s. pillar of the yellow-green to become its captain.
