AArthur Bauchet, a 21-year-old French skier, won his third gold medal at the Beijing Paralympics on Sunday March 13, in the slalom (standing category), confirming the hopes placed in him for several years.

On the slopes of Yanqing, in the mountainous suburbs of Beijing, the athlete licensed at the Briançon ski club beat the Chinese Liang Jingyi and the New Zealander Adam Hall. This is Arthur Bauchet’s fourth medal at these Games. The communicative jovial athlete had already won two titles (downhill and super combined) as well as silver in the giant slalom.
Adding the silver obtained earlier on Sunday by the French in the cross-country ski relay, France ends these Paralympics with 12 medals (including 7 gold) and a fourth place overall behind China, Ukraine and Canada. .
