GenPI.co – A team full of achievements and history, Persipura Jayapura, has difficulty getting out of the relegation zone of the League 1 standings.
In 27 matches in Liga 1 this season, the team nicknamed the Black Pearl was only able to record six wins, seven draws and 14 defeats.
With a score of 25 points, Persipura sits in the relegation zone, precisely in 16th place in the League 1 standings.

In the remaining seven matches, Persipura will desperately try to avoid the relegation zone.
“If Persipura gets relegated, maybe this is a danger sign for other big clubs,” said La Grande Indonesia’s communications division, Ilham Sukrai Harahap to GenPI.co, Tuesday (1/3).

According to him, other big clubs in League 1 must be careful in order to defend themselves in the highest caste.
“If it is not supported by good preparation and management, maybe we will see other big and historic clubs that go down the caste,” he said.

Persipura is listed as the team with the most titles in the Indonesian League era.
