Jesus Chacon returns to the base: after a more than positive 2019 season in the ranks of Piacenza baseball, the Italian-Venezuelan had earned confirmation for the following season but the onset of the pandemic forced him to stay in South America. Last season he returned to Italy to savor Serie A with the jersey of the Grizzlies in Turin. Near the age of twenty-three, Jesus has spent in the Dominican professional leagues, in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, in the orbit of the satellite teams of the Boston Red Sox, with whom he stood out for his defensive skills in the home field (covering the roles of shortstop , second and third bases) and for his running speed on bases. Having reached Serie B at the age of twenty, he also shows off in attack, concluding the 2019 season among the best in all offensive and defensive statistics among the red and white. Last year in Turin he made twenty-four appearances in Serie A, also beating a home run against Milan, which he will find again this year as an opponent.
