Ploërmel: Ploërmelais on the podium of an adapted judo competition

A competition of adapted sport took place at Ploërmel martial arts center (Morbihan). Several people with mental disabilities clashed during the interregional judo championships.

The Great West Present

This competition was organized by the French Federation and the Ploërmelaise Judo Plaisir 56 association hosted the participants.

The athletes came from Brittany, Pays de la Loire and Normandy. This gathering could not take place in 2021 due to the health crisis, so for this edition, there was a crowd. Indeed, there are 45 participants, who wanted to obtain a place for the French adapted sports championships which will take place at the beginning of June in the south of France.

The 3 representatives of the IME Les Bruyères de Ploërmel, registered for judo pleasure 56, ranked: Dylan Duchesne finished 3rd in his class. Cindy Foulon first of her hen and Noelly Yviquel 2nd of this same hen.
