Little established at Paris Saint-Germain, Julian Draxler (28 years old, 24 appearances and 2 goals in all competitions this season) opened the door on Saturday to a departure next summer in order to obtain more playing time for the Cup of the world 2022 (see here). And precisely, a club is very interested in the Parisian attacking midfielder: Sevilla FC.
According to the Andalusian media Estadio Deportivo, the Sevillian sporting director Monchi has dreamed for several years of attracting the German international. The Spanish leader intends to take advantage of the player’s desires to try to complete his arrival during the next transfer window. PSG should not be too greedy for an element under contract until June 2024 and considered as an alternative. But the German’s salary (€562,000 per month) could be a drag on Sevilla.
