PSV: Van Nistelrooy will be the future coach (off.)

In search of a new coach to replace Roger Schmidt, whose contract will not be renewed at the end of the season, PSV Eindhoven have chosen Ruud Van Nistelrooy. The ex-Dutch striker, who has been in charge of the club’s youth teams since 2020, has signed a contract until June 2025 and will take up his new role next summer.

“Now is the right time to take the next step,” the former Manchester United striker said in a statement. “PSV are ready to embark on a new path this summer and I am ready to play my part. The discussions with the board have reinforced the idea that we will be ambitious for the years to come. I am excited by the task given to me by PSV.”
