Saddiq Bey had 23 points, one more than 2021 No. 1 draft pick Cade Cunningham.

Barnes was also named February’s Rookie of the Month in the East.
He set a career-high 28 points on Feb. 25 in Charlotte.
Three days later, he again had 28 points and set a career high with 16 rebounds in Brooklyn.
In that game, he made his first 11 shots in continuous play. Barnes also had five steals in the matchup.
For the first time since Shaquille O’Neal in 1993, a rookie had at least 25 points, 15 rebounds and 5 steals in a game.
Drafted fourth last year, Barnes averaged 15.2 points per game in February.
In the West, the rookie of the month is Josh Giddey of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged 16.3 points per game. The 19-year-old Australian led rookies with 8.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists, on average.
