After 99 days, the management of Major League Baseball and the Players Association MLB reached an agreement on the new Collective Bargaining Agreement that will resume all operations, unleashing joy among players, teams and fans that was reflected on social networks.
The work stoppage was established the first minute after last December 1st. Since then, fans and players have shown a bit of frustration and disappointment on their Instagram and Twitter accounts, as it was not known what the future of the 2022 season would be.
Rumors of negotiations have intensified in recent weeks, albeit several times with more disappointment than hope.
However, on the afternoon of Thursday, March 10, white smoke came from the headquarters of MLB in New York, So it was announced that Major League Baseball and the Players Union reached an agreement to sign the new Labor Contract, with which the activities would resume immediately.
