Now things are apparently going very quickly: Kylian Mbappe is expected to sign his contract with Real Madrid next week.

The poker game for Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is nearing its end. According to the Spanish newspaper Sport the striker is expected to sign his contract with the royal team as early as next week. In addition, the report lists specific sums that are moved in the process. Mbappe is said to receive a bonus of between 60 and 80 million euros, so the French superstar’s salary is 25 million euros net per year.

The deal that has been awaited for months is about to be completed. Last summer, Blancos tried at the last minute to pry Mbappe away from Paris Saint-Germain. However, PSG rejected an offer of up to 180 million euros at the end of the summer transfer window. Instead, the club hoped to be able to convince Mbappe to extend his contract.

Mbappe cannot prevent Champions League exit

However, this should have been done with the departure of the star ensemble from the Champions League at the latest, against Real of all things PSG lost out after a 1-0 win in the first leg due to a 1-3 defeat in the second leg. Mbappe scored both goals for the Parisians, but could not prevent the knockout round.

After the tie was drawn, it was widely expected that the 23-year-old would wait until after the games to make a decision. At PSG, meanwhile, a change could be pending after the renewed disappointment in the premier class.
