As former Barcelonans, strikers Lionel Messi and Neymar will advance with extra motivation to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium to challenge Real Madrid with Paris Saint-Germain this Wednesday (9 p.m.) in the Round of 16 second leg of the Ligue des Ligue Champions. Their former teammate in Catalonia, Xavi, wanted to send them a sympathetic message a few hours before this shock.
“I don’t know if it’s his backyard, but Leo did wonders and not just at the Bernabeu. I’ll watch the game. Too bad we’re not in the Champions League. It’s a great game and the best win. I wish the best to Leo and Neymar who are my friends. If they can win, it’s better”, slipped the Blaugrana coach with a big smile this Wednesday at a press conference.
